Parents, spending Friday nights at Sinai is about to get a little easier….
Premiering in March we will have two new programs up and running which we hope will encourage families to come and worship with us more often.
“Wiggle Room” – all kids need a little wiggle room and sometimes sitting still for the entire family service is just too difficult for our youngest congregants. So, starting on March 7, we will be offering parents the chance to accompany their little ones to our Wiggle Room during Family Services (1st Friday of the month). This space (in the Kindergarten classroom) will be available for you to bring your child should you find it necessary to take them out of the sanctuary for part of the service. There will be age appropriate toys available, and the service will be piped in so you can continue to be part of our worship.
Babysitting – Yes you read that correctly. As of March 14th we will be offering Babysitting at our Kabbalat Shabbat Services (2nd Friday of the month). Come to temple as a family and mingle with other congregants over snacks at 5:30 PM. Then enjoy Kabbalat Shabbat Services while those of your children who may be too young to sit through this service (toddler – 7 years), are cared for by members of our own teen youth program SPFTY, down the hall in the Kindergarten Room. This service is provided free of charge.
